Talk about your favorite artist to everyone you knowShow off a photo of your painting, too, because you have original art! It can feel so rare to own original art, maybe you'll convince them to support small business artists, too.

Take photos of your painting displayed in your homeIt’s even better when you show your painting with the things around it, like by a window, or over the bed.
Send the artist these photos, giving permission to use with or without your name. Share in your favorite social media and tag artist. |

Share on Social Media If you are connected to the artist in social media, hit the share button when the artist shares any artwork. Bonus points if you share your painting after the artist does!

Share business cardsShare the artist's business card with friends. Don't think your friends are interested? Leave a card at the anywhere a small business has a business card collection.

Share the events that are taking placeGo to the artist's studio parties and bring friends. Have a schedule conflict or live too far away? Share the event and maybe send a friend? If you do get to enjoy the event, post photos to your social network.

Share the old-fashioned wayDo you have old fashioned bulletin boards at your work place, favorite store, doctor’s office, etc., that has a place for announcements? Ask your favorite artist for a pull tab flyer. You can easily print, cut the tabs, and post a poster for your artist.

Are you on your favorite artist's email list? Many artists design different collections of paintings in addition to the one you adopted. If you aren't, go see if you can be added.
